The Luxembourgish Association of Filmmakers and Scriptwriters (LARS) is a non-profit association founded in 1999. Our 50 members include the vast majority of professional directors and scriptwriters active in Luxembourg.

Our object is to protect the material, social and moral rights of our members.

As a member of FERA (the Federation of European Film Directors) and of FSE (Federation of Screenwriters in Europe) we represent the interests of the professions on a European and international level.

Additionally, LARS representatives serve on the Board of the Luxembourgish "Filmakademie".
